The clearest current local option is Bancroft Offroad Tours, which offers guided UTV/side-by-side tours from Bancroft. Its website describes guided UTV tours, and Hastings County lists the operator’s two- and four-hour guided UTV experiences in Bancroft.[1][3]

Important limitation: the operator’s FAQ says it does not rent a UTV without a guide. It requires drivers to meet its licence and age requirements, and says each tour includes a safety briefing and safety gear.[2]

So, if you want a guided side-by-side experience, check the operator’s current tour packages and booking page.[1] If you specifically want to rent an ATV or UTV for independent riding, I could not verify a current self-drive rental based in Bancroft from the sources checked; the local operator’s FAQ specifically says its UTVs are not rented without a guide.[2] Destination Ontario lists independent ATV-rental options elsewhere in the wider Haliburton Highlands, but those are not Bancroft-based.[4]

For riding your own machine, BancroftOntario’s trail information points visitors toward marked and multi-use trail systems and warns that trail use, access and conditions require care; confirm permitted routes, private-property restrictions, permits and current conditions before setting out.[5]
