A 2018 commenter warned that a low-clearance car could bottom out on the road to Egan Lake and recommended using a truck.
Historical road-condition report from 2018. BancroftOntario.com continues to describe the road as unmaintained and unsuitable for a non-4×4 vehicle, but conditions can change; confirm locally before travelling.
