Is there a current printed or digital guide covering lakes, access points and fish species in the Bancroft area, and where can it be purchased?

A 2020 commenter said the Bancroft-area lakes and fish guide was published by the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council and suggested checking the council’s website. Copies were also reported at Canadian Tire in Bancroft and other local outdoor stores at that time.
Verified July 21, 2026: the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council still describes its Stocked Lake Fishing Guidebook and says it is sold through the BASC store when available. Its page listed the guide as out of stock when checked; the 2020 retailer information is historical.
