Mayo Lake is located in Mayo township about 30 minutes East of Bancroft. Mayo Lake has about 197 hectares of surface area with a maximum depth of about 38 meters. 83% crown land surrounding. It is part of a 2 lake chain including Gin Lake. Mayo Lake is a beautiful lake with a limestone base. There is a public boat launch located off Mayo Lake Road. Fish species include Lake Trout and Bass.
