SNOWMOBILING IN BANCROFT

Bancroft and the county of North Hastings offer an excellent snowmobiling destination. There are over 350 km of groomed trails throughout the area, abundant snowfall, snowmobile clubs and club activities.  Staying a while?  There are many snowmobile friendly places to stay and of course some great places to dine.  Why not come and spend some time on your sled in Bancroft this winter!

And don’t forget your trail permit!

Paudash Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club has just over 300 km of amazing trails extending from Gooderham to near Bancroft and from just north of Apsley to the south end of Algonquin Park.Click here to visit their Facebook page.

Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers
The Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers offers snowmobilers’ groomed trails throughout the Bancroft area.  They maintain over 317 kilometers of trails with the use of 3 groomers. Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs
A dedicated group to the supporting of strong leadership and support to member clubs to establish and maintain quality snowmobile trails which are used in a safe and environmentally responsible manner to further the enjoyment of organized snowmobiling.

Make sure you are prepared before you head out.  Know the law!  Check out the Ontario website for safe snowmobiling information.

A few things you should know.  When operating a snowmobile, you must have a valid driver’s license, proof of snowmobile ownership & registration, Insurance, a helmet, and a valid trail permit.

      What about the Paudash Trailblazers Snowmobile Club and the Old Hastings Snowmobile Club. They have trails into Bancroft.
