The Rockhound Gemboree
The Rockhound Gemboree is an annual event that takes place in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. It is a celebration of the area’s rich history of mining and prospecting, and attracts visitors from all over the country.
During the Rockhound Gemboree, there are a variety of activities and events that are designed to appeal to people of all ages, and rock collectors with all interests. The Rockhound Gemboree is a great opportunity for rockhounds and mineral collectors of all levels to learn more about the geology of the area, as well as to buy a wide variety of rocks, minerals, and gems to add to their collections. It’s also a fun and educational event for people who are interested in the history of mining and prospecting in Bancroft and the surrounding region. Did you know Ontario’s First Gold Mine is located not too far from Bancroft.
