Wilno

Wilno, Ontario is the oldest Polish settlement in Canada.  Settled in 1859, it is now a tourist destination located south-east of Algonquin Park.  The cemetery on Church Street, approximately 2.5km southeast of Wilno, is the oldest Polish cemetery in Canada, originating in 1875.  Sadly some of the gravestones have been destroyed, either due to age or neglect, but there are still many of them remaining, with epitaphs in the Kaszubian dialect.
